Online education offers learning choices that are effective,
flexible and accessible. The Missouri Course Access Program (MOCAP)
is designed to expand the range of courses and opportunities
offered to students by increasing availability to online learning.
For more information on Missouri's Course Access Program, access
the Department of Secondary and Elementary Education's webpage.
Calhoun R-VIII School District offers online instruction through
State Fair Community College, Missouri Southern State University,
and in a virtual learning partnership program with Springfield
Public Schools called Launch. This virtual program allows students
in grades 9-12 to take rigorous online courses. Through this
program, general education classes along with dual credit classes
are offered online for students. The Launch program has also
expanded into the middle school grades.
Online course registration and student enrollment follow the
same timelines and procedures used by the Calhoun R-VIII School
District. If you would like additional information about online
courses, please contact your counselor or principal.
